Vehicle Frame for KR 51/2

The years-long search by two-wheeler enthusiasts of the Bird series has come to an end. At the end of 2024, we were able to start production of the frame and deliver it to our partner, AKF GmbH in Bautzen. This project demonstrates how passion, technical expertise, and strong partnerships can lead to a solution, to a product.

In the course of the ongoing diversification of our product range, market demands emerged through personal relationships that WESOMA can serve with its capabilities and skills.

Through perfect collaboration between WESOMA's technicians, AKF GmbH's sales experts, continuous support from LangTuning GmbH, and with assistance from the local DEKRA branch, we were able to develop the frame for the KR 51/2 in record time and bring it to market maturity. The participants employed state-of-the-art techniques such as 3D scanners, while also leveraging the expertise of seasoned professionals.

Technical testing procedures and test drives were completed to create a strength assessment, which formed the basis for DEKRA's test report. Based on this test report, a legally compliant replacement of a defective frame can now be carried out.

This product forms the foundation of a new product family that we will continuously develop further. We thank all the mentioned and unmentioned contributors and are already looking forward to more exciting projects.
